the answer is no, michelle obama cannot save american fashion. she does not have the taste, mystery or body to do it. i will give her a chance but i feel dismal. if she is crowned american sartorial queen or western fashion's joan of arc, i may dedicate myself to wearing plaid flannel shirts, cargo pants and crocs with socks. i'm just sayin.
