radiohead in dallas last night at the american airlines center, one of the best shows i've ever seen..

the show was as visually mesmerizing as the music itself

the set for weird fishes
the way he dances is a mix between the guy who always gets on the jumbo tron at baseball games for doing the chicken dance and a little insouciant girl dancing in a field of flowers.

the momentum built up through "everything in its right place" was almost unbearable

one of my all time favorite songs, idioteque, from kid a

they surprisingly performed songs from ok computer including the iconic karma police.

the demographic of concert goers was surprising! i expected to see cerebral, rich, pretentious music snobs who have subscriptions to spin and say ridiculous things like "next to joy division, wilco is the most influential band of the last 50 years". but there were so many sorts of people there, i even saw two black guys!

just goes to show, everyone loves radiohead.
