banana party

then a banana party here after Jerry and Margaret got back from Alaska. she got a trike, a glow in the dark tee from alaska, and some rocks (loves rocks).

last year

three years old

em wanted an apple theme for her third birthday, so we had one in austin before my dad left for china. apple decor, a tarte tatin and a very short apple hunt. as in, under 3 min because i used six of the apples to make this tarte. she had a great time and blew out her candles with gusto. much improved from last year. 

like most children, she has caught onto the trend that people like to have themes to their birthdays. she told me that baa baa wants to have a fox party.

forty five minutes

currently on her person: chocolate, paint, smashed clementines, pee, almond milk, poop. it's time to go home.

school daze

jeremy went to our niece, hallie's, school to show the kids about being a cowboy. they all wrote letters to thank him; we were dying laughing at how creative and wonderful they were. here's one of his faves, the cropped top cowboy.
